About Brambleton Agency

Mel Pine founded the Brambleton Agency in 2005 because he got tired of listening to his neighbors say: “I never hear from my insurance agent. I wish I heard from him once a year.” This proved to be great competitive intelligence. Many of the insurance agents and brokers in Northern Virginia were not providing the level of service that their customers expected, so Mel felt that an agency giving top-class service would thrive.

He was right. From its second month in business, Brambleton Agency placed among the most successful agencies in the five-state region of the nationally known insurance company that he affiliated with. His initial office, in Purcellville, VA, was followed in 2008 by a second office, in Winchester, VA. Customers in West Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, as well as those in Virginia, have been drawn to the Brambleton Agency’s high-service company culture.

Mel hires and manages with a single principle: Doing the best for every customer every time. His senior licensed staff members -- Jason Sengpiehl, New Business Specialist, and Pat Cruz, Customer Service Manager -- share his passion for putting the customer’s needs first.

Among Mel’s staff members are licensed agents who can help with auto, homeowner’s, renter’s, condo, health, landlord’s, commercial auto, business owner’s, worker’s compensation, and professional liability insurance, plus a specialist in employee benefits. Mel likes to focus on his customers’ financial security as well as life and long-term care insurance.

“We’re prepared to do whatever it takes to help our customers get the security they deserve at a price they can afford,” Mel says.
